Ingredients
Custard
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Bread & Cooking
- 1 loaf brioche, cut into 1-inch slices
- 2 tbsp butter
- Maple syrup, fresh berries
Instructions
1
Whisk Custard
In a shallow dish, whisk together eggs, milk, cream, vanilla, and cinnamon until well combined.
2
Soak
Dip each brioche slice into the custard, letting it soak for about 30-60 seconds per side so the bread absorbs the liquid all the way through.

Griddle
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the soaked bread slices for 3-4 minutes per side until deep golden brown and slightly crispy on the edges.
4
Serve
Serve warm with a generous drizzle of maple syrup and a handful of fresh seasonal berries.
