Iced Matcha Latte
A refreshing, creamy iced matcha latte made with ceremonial-grade matcha and your choice of milk.

- 2 tsp ceremonial-grade matcha powder
- 2 tbsp hot water (not boiling, ~80°C)
- 250ml oat milk or milk of choice
- 1 tsp honey or vanilla syrup (optional)
- Ice cubes
Instructions
Sift the Matcha
Sift 2 teaspoons of matcha powder into a small bowl. This step is essential to ensure your latte is perfectly smooth and free of lumps.
Whisk with Hot Water
Add 2 tablespoons of hot water (80°C). Use a bamboo whisk or a small electric frother to whisk in a 'W' motion until a thick, frothy paste forms.
Sweeten (Optional)
If you prefer a sweeter latte, stir in a teaspoon of honey or vanilla syrup while the matcha paste is still warm so it dissolves easily.
Prepare the Glass
Fill a tall glass with plenty of ice cubes. Pour in 250ml of your favorite milk (oat milk works exceptionally well with matcha).
The Pour
Slowly pour the whisked matcha over the cold milk. This creates a beautiful layered effect before you stir it all together.
Stir and Enjoy
Stir the matcha and milk together until the color is uniform. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary before serving immediately.
